Carta: Learn Italian ("the App") is a language-learning application that helps users study Italian vocabulary and sentences. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All user data — including learning progress, streak history, bookmarks, and settings — is stored locally on your device only using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). No data is sent to any server, third party, or analytics service.

Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Notifications: To send scheduled learning reminders and daily streak check-in notifications. These are generated and scheduled entirely on your device.
• Text-to-Speech: The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to pronounce Italian sentences. No audio is recorded or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for users of all ages.
